We wish to see area children and teenagers with a smile that replaces the current sad and anguished face. Laugh out loud instead of crying due to hunger, and grow up with the hope that tomorrow will be a better day. We desire to share that the future begins today and that every individual represents the future. Providing the bread is good, but teaching how to make bread is much better****. For that reason, we ask you, in the love of God to help us teach children to make their own bread Here in Higüey, Dominican Republic, knowing a second language, understanding informatics***, or being able to play an instrument would provide an avenue for an individual to grow within the community. By combining these teachings with the theology of the Bible, an individual gains a well-rounded perspective of God’s desire to live responsibly and to help others.
